In line with its ongoing search to minimise its ecological footprint, ba&sh is proud to unveil an upcycling line in collaboration with stylist Johanna Senyk. A smart-creation experience that is as responsible as it is desirable.
An exclusive capsule
ba&sh reveals a new capsule alongside stylist Johanna Senyk, who was given carte blanche to design a 100% upcycling collection made from scraps of fabric from past seasons, along with buttons, ribbons, chains and other adornments, all vintage and sourced in France.
Why Johanna Senyk?
A stylist who has become one of the most notable personalities in Parisian fashion, she made her debut with Anthony Vaccarello, whom she supported during the launch of his brand, and she has also worked for houses such as Alexander McQueen, The Row and J.W. Anderson.
The first brand she launched, Wanda Nylon, was awarded the Grand Prix de l'Andam in 2016, and her passion for craftsmanship then led her to create Françoise: a 100% Made in France luxury upcycling brand, for which she sources exceptional vintage garments. Johanna Senyk offers a unique reflection on the future of luxury, eco-responsibility and sustainability.
The collection
The collection includes ten garments produced in an ultra-limited series. Multicoloured pleated lamé dresses embellished with 1970s chains, a bolero and a quilted mini-skirt made from costumer fabric and vintage buttons… Not to mention ruffled blouses and dresses adorned with vintage charms.
