Kerry Pieri may be the most multi-hyphenate talent we have ever come across. Fashion-editor, mama, taste-maker, painter, stylist, wellness expert…it’s hard to find something she doesn’t do. A long-time editorial veteran of American Harper’s Bazaar, Pieri is known for her modern, yet vintage-inspired style and warm-as-sunshine personality.

And while her taste level is 10/10, it’s in the way that she wears her clothes that truly make her street style star. She could wear the same key item every day of the week but manage to style it so drastically differently each day, that you’d never know it was being repeated.

Case in point: The Teddy Bag: equal parts fashion-forward and utilitarian. ba&sh’s beloved saddle bags comes in various sizes, fabrications, and colors. Designed by the brand’s two founders to be a must-have accessory able to carry all your essentials, this crossbody bag is made from Italian leathers which are sourced from Leather Working Group-audited tanneries, meaning it’s ethically and sustainably made.

Another reason to love? The embossed signature label on the saddle bag's front pocket was inspired by a friendship ring Barbara gave Sharon. Talk about an emotionally-driven purchase.

Here, we talk to Kerry about fashion, styling, and how she wears her Teddy crossbody bag in three different ways.

What do you love most about the Teddy Bag?

[When I’m shopping for bags, I always look for] a good size and shape and a color that will work with multiple outfits because I rarely swap out my bag. I am in love with this brown suede leather. The Teddy bag in this warm shade is the perfect base to complement so many different looks.

Tell us about the three different ways you styled the Teddy saddle bag.

First, I paired it as a casual shoulder bag with a mini pleated skirt and a navy peacoat with loafers for a coffee date. A classic preppy ensemble is put in a new light with the subtly bohemian Teddy bag and the color makes for an unexpected, but cool mix.

Next, I wore my favorite mix of black jeans and a black top with a classic trench coat. The bag, slung crossbody, lends such a beautiful texture to an otherwise standard French girl outfit.

Lastly, I wore the Teddy bag with a long knit gray dress for an elevated day look. I was into the neutral tones and overall ‘70s vibe that still feels incredibly modern. The Teddy took every look to another level and is the perfect size to carry you from afternoon to evening.
